J-02 Cerakote Edition

The J-02 is back. And this time its wearing a brand new Kote...
With a host of new features, this is the original vision of the J-series boards finally brought to life. The whole board has been re-designed from the ground up to meet the changing keyboard scene, and take advantage of our ever building experience and manufacturing capabilities.

Salopian Cerakote

We've teamed up with the awesome Salopian Cerakote to give you guys a really cool way to personalise your board! Due to this being a custom process it will take 14 working days to dispatch Cerakote J-02 orders. These will be shipped once completed directly from Salopian to you. You can see some examples of Salopians work in the gallery!

Cerakote Colour Choices
To keep things simple, your Pen Rail and Mid Piece must match. Additionally your Top Case and Bottom Case must also match. If you require anything that is not available on the list, please buy a Raw unit and approach Salopian directly. The available Stock Colours are listed below:

If none of these colours work for you, or you want some super cool special effects, you can buy a Standard Raw unit, and Salopian will reach out to you directly to quote you for the work and to ship out your board.
There are a couple of colour ways that wont be available - these are the Blackout Colourway and the SPC Colourway. If you want one of those versions they have their own stock.

Design Philosophy

• Inspired by vintage boards the J-series was an opportunity to bring old school features, such as pen rails, to modern boards
• The design is reminiscent of early manufacturing where items were made in layers, and with strong defining features. 
• From earlier rounds (back in 2017!!) the external view remains very similar (with some minor visual tweaks), but the internals were designed to allow sound to propagate through the acoustic cavity. Every part of the board has been re-designed from the ground up to finally allow us to fit the original vision.
• Designed originally with Gateron Inks in mind for the CF plate, the current iteration works will with most linears, and for long pole linears or tactiles the POM plate is recommended.
• Clickys are banned.
