Inspiration:
Nature always seems to favor certain species with unique, vibrant colors. Island Bamboo originates from the renowned Komodo National Park, most famous for its star species, the Komodo dragon. Beyond that, the park is home to many other extraordinary and beautiful endemic plants and animals. Inspired by this, I designed the first piece in the National Park series—KOMODO—shortly after acquiring the Island Bamboo.
