Note from the designer:
Main goal of the project was to make a fullsize that could have a numpad on either side, the frames are used to make this possible and are stylized to get a unique top down look with unique color combinations
Screwless design was chosen to not interrupt the back curve,
 - this specific style was chosen because the swapping function with multiple frames would not work with baion bolt or Catchball
Ultra-low front height chosen for comfort 
Side profile curve and bottom engraving are to be reminiscent of the globe and of the tectonic plates that make up the continents ~ hence the name Pangea. Pangea is also to reference the separation and putting back together of the parts to change and shift around while still remaining a whole unit.
