Design Inspiration:
Pangea Mini is the successor to the Pangea Full Size. The mini has a similar top frame design that gives the keyboard a unique top-down look. The top frame also determines the layout, allowing users to easily switch the layout or aesthetic of their keyboard by simply changing out the top frame!

Case Design:
Pangea Mini takes many design elements from the Pangea Fullsize. The side profile shares the same arching HG style taper to give some depth when viewed from the side. The top view also showcases the interchangeable top frame. While Pangea Fullsize used this part to allow for a swappable numpad, Pangea Mini has different layout options offered in many different material and finishing options for a distinctive top down aesthetic.
Mounting Design:
The goal of pangea mini was to have a soft, uniform feel across the entire board. To achieve that I chose to use leafspring poron gasket mount. The relief cuts near the spacebar allow for more flex in that area while giving it a responsive feel and maintaining a uniform typing feel on the whole keyboard. Poron is an optimal material to absorb the vibrations produced by typing, preventing transfer to the case, which can cause pinging.

Blue Patina Surface Finish Expectations
Patina finishes are all done individually and there is a range of color, pattern, tone, and texture that each unit can fall into. For this run we took pictures of the variance to give better expectations to customers before purchasing.
Millenium Edition Surface Finish Expectations
Millennium Edition uses two surface finishes with a lot of variance: Aged and Rainbow PVD. Because of this we decided to make it a special edition where each unit is serialized and individually photographed for the sale so you can pick exactly which unit you want upon seeing the pictures.
