New Retro v3 continues the previous retro-futuristic deconstructivism, employing triangular three-dimensional support brackets and connecting rods as the dividing anchor points for the input area.
The material and form factor have been refined based on v1, inheriting and further enhancing the design language of the NR66 series.
Key updates in the appearance of v3 compared to v1/v2 include:
- The PCB retains support for solderable knobs while adding a status indicator light in the bottom-right corner, along with a new layout and mounting points for the positioning plate.
- Adjusted internal gasket structure.
- The transparent front and rear covers have been updated from PC to acrylic to eliminate purple/blue tints.
- The internal weight has been replaced with an external weight module that also functions as a battery compartment.
- Introduction of five new color options.
- Addition of a matching wrist rest design.
