The Wing A 60% Keyboard Kit Designed by Clever
Every great design has an origin story. For the Wing, it started with an iconic Italian sports car from the 20th century.
Inspired by the legendary rear wing spoiler of one of Europe's most celebrated performance machines, the Wing is a 60% keyboard that earns its name in every way. A detachable bottom bar, the "wing", connects to the case via strong neodymium magnets, lifting the board off the table and giving it a bold, floating silhouette at a 9-degree typing angle. Prefer something lower to the ground? Swap the wing bar for a pair of magnetic stub feet for a more relaxed 4.5-degree angle. No disassembly needed; just pull, swap, and go.
The sound design is just as intentional as the aesthetic. All PCB options feature bottom LEDs which provide a dramatic underglow through the dyed polycarbonate bottom shell. The bottom shell is engineered to act as a woofer, amplifying the board's natural resonance for a rich, tactile typing experience. A dedicated resonance chamber beneath the spacebar gives it a punchy, satisfying impact that you'll feel as much as you'll hear. Prefer a less resonant sound profile? The optional custom-molded silicone bottom pad helps dampen some of that resonance while still allowing light to pass through beautifully for a stunning underglow.
The Wing supports MX, EC, and HE switches, with each switch type backed by a dedicated PCB from some of the best names in the business: MX by Mechlovin', HE via the Venom 60 HE RGB, and EC by Cipulot. Layout options include WK, WKL, and HHKB 7u, depending on the chosen top. The front lip features a built-in palm rest curve for ergonomics that feel as good as they look. Custom molded silicone gasket socks are easy to install and provide responsive flex with minimal dampening, while adhesive poron strips offer a tried and true approach with a bit more dampening for those who prefer it.
Each colourway comes with a curated combination of colours across the following materials: an anodized or e-coated aluminium top, a dyed or translucent polycarbonate bottom, anodized aluminium bar and stubs, and an aluminium plate. Each thoughtfully paired to create a cohesive, intentional aesthetic from every angle. Every Wing ships with a custom carrying case to keep it protected in style.
