Introduction

Cycle8 is the second kit in the series, following Cycle7. It is an 80% keyboard kit that continues the design language and philosophy of the Cycle range.

It remains a high-completion-level entry-level product but with new improvements and refinements in production and processing.

It retains the snap-fit structure from Cycle7 and has custom CNC quick-release components that better fit the TKL frame.

The design details have been enriched and improved in this iteration. Compared to its predecessor, and as a TKL-sized keyboard, Cycle8 has been infused with more content: a loop light strip, split weight blocks, a new PC positioning plate, rich configuration options, and a new HE version PCB (technically supported by Rakka).

Finally, Cycle8 will be the final piece in the TKD Cycle series, meaning future TKD projects will be developed with entirely new design concepts.

• Tri-Mode Hotswap ISO: The firmware for Cycle8's tri-mode will support VIA, providing a more stable driver program; includes two 2200mAh batteries; supports combo key/soft switch mode; enhanced compatibility in Bluetooth mode. Feedback collected from Cycle7 issues has been addressed:
  
  
• Magnetic HE PCB ANSI Only: HE solution by Rakka, hardware and software self-developed, highly adapted to Cycle8 kit; strong performance with low latency, ensuring theoretical and physical performance consistency; 8000Hz polling rate, 0.1-4.00 adjustable key travel, high resolution of 0.05mm; includes FR4 positioning plate, HE PCB, and Gateron magnetic jade's, pre-assembled. If this kit is purchased the board will only ship with a FR4 plate as this is needed for the plate mount stabilisers that are compatible with this PCB. It will overwrite any previous plate choices and you will only receive the FR4 plate.
