The goal with these kits is to extend the usefulness of GMK sets like Hineybeige and Dolch R5 for keyboard layouts where you might prefer a less aggressive bottom row profile, particularly those with winkeys.

If you love beige and dolch sets but prefer a R4 bottom row for non-TKL layouts like 60, 65, 1800, etc., then this is the extension kit for you. 

Also taking the opportunity to offer 1.5 super and 1u alt keys, for HHKB enjoyers.
